The Fethiye to Kekova Blue Cruise takes 7 days and 6 nights, this route is one of the most popular along the Turkish Coastline. Travelling in a traditional Turkish gulet this cruise takes you to visit ancient ruins, stunning crystal-clear waters in quiet bays with time for swimming and snorkelling.

Departing the harbour at the town of Fethiye you will sail to Butterfly Valley where you will have time to relax a sunken city or talk a walk to Simena Castle, here you will be able to view these ancient ruins. Gokkaya Bay is the overnight stop before heading on to Demre. Sailing from Demre you will return to Fethiye taking a slightly different route, allowing for a return to some of the best places and see some new ones.

Your accommodation is a traditional Turkish standard yacht. These gulets offer cabins with, twin and double share with solo travellers able to share with another solo. All the cabins have private bathrooms, giving privacy while onboard. While on board you will try a variety of Turkish dishes, offering you a great cruise all around.

Day 1: Fethiye to St Nicholas Island D

You will meet at the Alaturka office at 09:00 am on the Fethiye harbour, here you will receive information before heading to your cruise will begin with boarding your vessel. You will be given some information before departing Fethiye harbour.

You will begin with sailing to Butterfly Valley, here you will be able to enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters. While here you will enjoy lunch before the optional hike to the waterfall at the back of the valley. This valley gained its name due to it being a popular breeding ground for both common and rare butterflies from the region.

After Butterfly Valley you will visit the famous Oludeniz beach. The views here are spectacular and one of the best ways to experience them is to take the optional paragliding tour. This thrilling activity sees you glide from the top of the local mountain to the beautiful beach below, if you wish to try please inform your captain know before departing Fethiye.

St Nicholas Island is the final stop of the day, you will have time to walk through the ruins of this small island and view the sunset over the ocean.

Day 2: St Nicholas Island to Kas BLD

Today you will cruise towards Kalkan, Stopping at Aquarium bay to enjoy breakfast before taking to the water. This bay is a perfect location to snorkel and explore what the Mediterranean has to offer below the surface.

Before lunch, you will sail to the small fishing town of Kas, where you will moor at its quaint harbour and enjoy lunch before exploring the towns small shops and handmade crafts. You will then head to a peaceful bay between Kas and Kekova for the night.

Day 3: Kas to Gokkaya Bay BLD

After you have had breakfast you will cruise to Kekova. You will begin with a visit to the Sunken City, the ancient town dates back 2000 years and was partially submerged following an earthquake. Due to its protected status Swimming and diving here are prohibited, however, the water is so clear that viewing from the boat is amazing as well. Following these ruins, you will head to Simena Castle, where you can walk to the top and view the panoramic site of the area below.

Day 4: Gokkaya Bay to Ucagiz Village BLD

This morning you will get to have another swim in the beautiful Gokkaya Bay before you head onto Ucagiz Village Harbour. Here the people who have chosen the shorter 4-day cruise will depart the boat. So it's time for you to say farewell to new friends. You will also have a few hours to head into town where you can spend your time either wandering around, sitting in a cafe or go out to the impressive Lycian ruins.

Around lunch time it's time to get back on board and welcome and new comers who are going to be sailing back with you on the Sail Fethiye blue cruise. Once everyone is back on board it will be time to go back to visit Sunken City of Kekova and also Simena Castle. If you didn't climb up last time, now is your chance, or you may like to sit in a cafe or even just chill out on board and enjoy the sun and quiet time.  (B, L, D)

Day 5: Gokkaya Bay to Liman Agzi or Firnaz Bay BLD

Your day will begin with breakfast at Yaglica Bay, where you can enjoy a morning swim, from here you will sail back to Kas to enjoy lunch at the harbour and enjoy a short time to explore the town again.

You will then sail to Liman Agzi or Firnaz bay where you will enjoy dinner in these peaceful destinations where you will also spend the night.

Day 6: Firnaz By or Liman Agzi to St Nicholas Island

The captain will begin sailing north to wake up at Butterfly Valley where you will enjoy your breakfast. Here you will be able to relax in the sun, swim in the ocean or even hike to the waterfalls at the back of the valley.

Following here you will sail to the world-famous beach of Oludeniz where you can try the optional paragliding tour either again or try it if you did not before. After you have enjoyed Oludeniz you will sail to St Nicholas island where you can walk to the top of this small island among the ruins to watch the sunset.

Day 7: St Nicholas Island to Fethiye BLD

Your final morning the captain will sail to Tarzan bay where you can enjoy breakfast before taking to the water, here a strong rope swing was added to make the bay more fun for everyone. From here you will head to Samanlik Bay to enjoy a quiet lunch before returning to Fethiye Bay.

Here you will bid a fond farewell to your crew and say goodbye to your fellow passengers.

We advise all travellers to take out their own individual travel insurance.

- Passengers have the use of all standard yachting equipment on board. This includes snorkels and masks and board games.
- Linen is provided on this cabin charter. Please note that you must bring along your own bath/beach towel. No towels are provided
- Entrance fees and optional activities are not included in the cabin charter package price. 

All meals are included for the duration of your cruise. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and snacks. Drinks are not provided in your cabin charter package. On this cabin charter, you may not bring along your own drinks. All drinks excluding water are sold on board at reasonable prices, drinking water is included on this cruise. A bar tab is set up for the duration of the week. All bar tabs are paid on the conclusion of your cruise.

Allocation of cabins is done on site. All gulets and cabin layouts are different, cabins are not predetermined.  On these cruises, you may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin depending on your group breakdown. Where possible, Alaturka will do their best to room couples in a double cabin, and individuals in a twin room of a person of the same sex. For individual travellers who do not want to be assigned with another passenger, single supplement cabins are available. All cabins have private bathrooms with toilet and shower

-Your cabin charter is a non-guided tour. There is no local guide on board providing information on the sites and locations. 
-Children of 6 and under are not allowed on this cabin cruise. Ages 7 to 10 years old are charged at 50% of the full cruise rate if staying in their parent/guardian’s cabin. If there is more than one child, the first child is charged 50% and every child after at full price. Ages 11+ charged at full cruise price.
-All efforts will be made to follow this itinerary, however, in cases of poor weather and/or sea conditions, this schedule may change. This could include altered daily plans and overnight stops. In these situations all efforts will be made to consult customers on alternative options, no money will be refunded...

Pickups and Meeting Point
Departing from Fethiye: There are no Hotel pick-ups in; the Fethiye area, this includes; Calis, Oludeniz, Hisaronu, Kaya Village, and Fethiye.
Departing from Kas: There is no Hotel pick up available
Departing from Olympos: Pick up is available from Olympos Hotels. Pick up is not provided from Cirali or Antalya.
Departing from Demre: Meeting time is at 12:00 at Demre Bus station.
