If your next holiday in Turkey includes a visit to the southern coast and nearby Greek islands, be sure to check out these routes and comfortably book your journey through Alaturka. Wherever your holiday takes you along the Turquoise Coast, there are ferries available from many ports spread out along the coastline.

The Bodrum to Rhodes and Bodrum to Kos ferries are perfect to couple with a few days stay in the historical port town of Bodrum. However, if you happen to find yourself in Marmaris or Fethiye, our Marmaris to Santorini or Fethiye to Rhodes ferries are just a few of the routes that can be found here. Let us assist you with planning to ensure that you get the most out of your next holiday to Turkey and the Greek islands.

At Alaturka we aim to provide a reliable service to book ferries between Turkey and Greece, however, due to information being updated and forms changing accordingly it is not possible for our teams to apply for or offer advice on visa requirements. As such all visa information and services must be done directly with the correct government authorities.

There are 6 crossing points between the Greek Islands and Turkey

• Samos - Kusadasi *
• Kos - Bodrum
• Rhodes - Marmaris *
• Rhodes - Fethiye*
• Chios - Cesme
• Lesbos - Ayvalik

* the 3 most popular routes are either via Samos or Rhodes.

Travel Tips
- There is also new fast ferries, which take half the time of the regular ferries, but cost twice the money.
- P.S. Be careful of any national holidays as ferries may be on a limited schedule then.
- Make sure you have good maps if you set to explore on bikes, mopeds or foot.
- Make reservations at hostels / pensions as they will be full in the summer and they will pick you up at the port.
- At the ports you will be greeted by people offering accommodation. Make sure you look carefully at what they are offering you and where it is located; otherwise you might end up middle of nowhere!

General Information
- Schedules from each island will vary depending on how busy they are, so expect waits on less touristy islands.
- The Cycladic Island group is the most visited and once you reach a Cycladic island, travel between the other islands is easy.
- All islands have good connections to Athens.
- Paros has great connections everywhere.
- Rhodes has good connections to Crete (in summer a ferry goes to Santorini) and Athens.
