A wonderful classic building, originally started off as the grand Bristol Hotel, in 2003 a Turkish architect was given the task of renovating the building to give the space and ability to use the inside to show the beautiful permanent exhibits as well as the regularly changing event exhibits.
Funded by a Turkish foundation whose aim it is to expand the general populace’s knowledge of different subjects, including education, healthcare, culture and art. Their aim is to leave a full legacy for future generations.
The museum offers a selection of stunning items in 3 permanent collections called, ‘Orientalist Paintings’, Anatolian Weights and Measures’ and Kutahya Tiles and Ceramics’. They also have different types of methods to show their displays with changing collections that have influences from all over the world.
