Beach Cemetery

This place of rest was first used on the 25th April for the troops who died during the initial landing. This cemetery was continuing to be used until the day they retreated and evacuated from the region on 20th December.

Among the Australian, British, New Zealand and other nations buried here, there are a few individuals that left their mark on the people who fought, with their stories inspired many generations.
