This tour starts in the city of Istanbul where you will visit some of the iconic sights that span back throughout history. Stunning palaces and cruising the Bosphorus will let you see astounding beauty. Gallipoli is both beautiful and surreal with views that are breathtaking the remembrance monuments stand as a strong reminder of what happened. From modern war-torn sights to ancient ones, the tour continues to Troy where a replica horse resides. Pergamon an ancient city was one of the closest in ancient times and today can be explored to understand how people lived.

Pamukkale offers a place to relax in natural mineral rich waters of the white stepped pools with exploring the surrounding area. Following one peace place to a cruise from Fethiye to Olympos with time onboard to relax while visiting the perfect bays and beaches. Free time at Olympos is perfect for personal exploration in the ancient town and surround area. The tour turns to Cappadocia where underground cities lay beneath the surface where breathtaking valleys and rock formations spread across the landscape.

Istanbul Old City Tour
Today you get your first look at the mysterious City of Istanbul. You will be picked up from your accommodation, heading off to see some of the major attractions of this historical, mystical City. You will visit the Blue Mosque, the breathtaking Hagia Sophia and then go into the old Sultans Palace of Topkapi to see some of the Sultans many ancient treasures and visit the Palace rooms and gardens. You also get a look at some of the best shopping in Istanbul. The tour will walk through the many lanes of the Grand Bazaar – one of the largest covered markets in the world and also visit the Spice Bazaar to take in the scents and aromas of the spices, Turkish delight & Turkish tea & coffee.

Istanbul 2 Continents Bosphorus Cruise
There is still so much of this City to see. Today you get a new perspective on Istanbul, via the seas that surround the City. You will be picked up from your accommodation and head to the port to board a boat on the Golden Horn, the waterway dividing this magnificent City across 2 continents. Some highlights of the day will include, the Rumeli Fortress, where the old Ottoman Empire fought to hold onto Istanbul and then cruising along the Bosphorus Sea and under the Bosphorus Bridge. You also get to visit Dolmabahce Palace. A Palace built by the Sultans with European flare and style. It is a special place for most Turks, as it was the residence that the infamous Ataturk lived in, in his last years.

Gallipoli Tour
Today there is an early start to make our way to the battlefields of Gallipoli. You are picked up from your accommodation early and head for Eecabat. There you will have lunch before starting a fully guided tour of the Gallipoli peninsula. You visit the many cemeteries of Australians, New Zealanders and Turk soldiers and also visit the war memorials and see some of the original old trenches on the Gallipoli battlefields. You get time at the museum where you can see some old war artifacts that are still being discovered in the area. It will be time to ponder the heroism and tragedy of past times and understand the friendships that were born between the nations fighting for this piece of the peninsula.

In the early morning, you will be picked up for a tour of Troy and later on that day Pergamon.

Troy Tour
In Troy, you will visit the Trojan Horse, Sacrificial Altars, the 3,700 year old city walls, Houses of Troy I 3,000 B.C. - 2,500 B.C., the Bouleuterion (Senate Building), the Odeon (Concert Hall), and the remains of the various cities from Troy I through to Troy IX. 

Pergamom Tour
After lunch, the tour will continue on to ancient Pergamon, making stops at the Acropolis, the Library which once held 200.000 books, the Temple of Athena,  the Temple of Trajan, the Gymnasium situated on terraces, the lower Agora, the Hellenistic Theater with a seating capacity of 10,000, and the Temple of Dionysus.

Ephesus Full Day Tour
Today you get to start to explore the wonders of the small town of Selcuk. You are picked up from your accommodation and get taken out to see some of the best-preserved marble ruins in the modern world – Ephesus. Ephesus was one of the Ancient Capitals of Roman Asia - the second largest ancient city of the world! A city where over 200,000 people lived over 3,000 years ago. You also get to visit the House of the Virgin Mary. An important place for the Christian faith, as it is believed it is where Mary spent the last years of her life. You will also visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world – The Temple of Artemis.

Pamukkale Day Tour
After breakfast you are collected from your accommodation and depart for Pamukkale, which in Turkish translates to "cotton castle". On arrival, you have lunch before taking in the magnificent views of the “cotton castle” travertines. You get a guided tour over the white cliffs of Pamukkale and of the ancient, historical ruins of Hierapolis.

Public Bus to Fethiye
You then continue your journey for the gorgeous seaside town of Fethiye.

Gulet Cruise Begins in Fethiye
After breakfast you will all be checking in to one of our Alaturka Gulets to start your 4 days of cruising the beautiful Mediterranean coastline. Today you visit Butterfly Valley, Oludeniz / Blue Lagoon and spend the evening anchored down at St Nicholas Island. Be sure to climb to the top of the island for the most beautiful sunset, possibly one of the best, of the whole cruise.

Kas & Aquarium Bay
Today after making some stops along the way for swimming, breakfast and lunch you will get to spend some time in the beautiful town of Kas. Here you can shop up a storm with the abundance of jewelry shops in town or spend time just wandering the cobblestone streets soaking up the ambiance of the seaside fishing village.

Kekova & Sunken City
Today you sail past the sunken city. Once part of the original settlement that still makes up the island of Kekova, after a devastating earthquake many centuries ago, this part of the town has fallen into the ocean. You will sail past slowly for a closer look before anchoring down on the opposite side to visit what still remains of Kekova. Here you can wander the island and walk up to the Lycian tombs for a closer look or climb to the top and enter Simena Castle for some beautiful views over the coastline you have just cruised.

Gulet Cruise ends, Free Day
Today you farewell your gulet and head onto Olympos by bus. Here, you enter the National Park where you can explore the ruins of ancient times as you make your way down to the beach for some more sun and swimming. That evening you have the optional extra of visiting Chimera – The Eternal Flame.

Olympos Free Day
Today you get a free day to relax, soak up some more sunshine and have one last swim in the Mediterranean before boarding your overnight bus bound for the Cappadocia region. You will leave Olympos in the early evening to meet the overnight bus in Antalya, that will take you direct to Goreme.

Overnight Bus to Cappadocia

This morning you arrive to the unusual and breathtaking scenery of Goreme, Cappadocia. One of our crew members will pick you up from Goreme bus station and drop you to your accommodation. You can relax for the day or catch up on some sleep. This afternoon you will be picked up from your accommodation for a walking tour through some of the beautiful valleys of this region. So be sure to wear some comfortable shoes and pack your camera, fully charged.

Turkish Night Show
Tonight is a special evening. You will be collected from your accommodation for a night of entertainment, food and good fun! You get the experience of a “Turkish night” of traditional Turkish dancing, from the Whirling Dervishes to belly dancing to seeing a Turkish wedding. The night is fully catered for and good fun not to be missed.

OPTIONAL: For your second day in Cappadocia, it would be a great idea to take advantage of a sunrise hot air balloon ride. Cappadocia is famous for this unique experience and you definitely will not want to miss it. This is an additional tour and will cost extra.

South Cappadocia Tour
Pick up from accommodation in Goreme.
Today you will be picked up from your accommodation after breakfast, to start exploring parts of the south Cappadocia region. The highlights of the day will include, Kaymakli Underground City, Uchisar Castle Panorama and a beautiful stroll through the Meskendir Valley to name a few. The day is a full of some of the most beautiful sites to see in Cappadocia.

Pick up from accommodation in Goreme.

North Cappadocia Tour
You have one more day in this spectacular region to soak up the rest of the sites to see. Today you will be picked up from your accommodation and get to visit some of the oldest settlements in the Cappadocia region. You will visit some small villages, take in some local handicrafts and also get to soak up the natural wonders and visit the Monks Valley and Devrent Valley

Domestic flight back to Istanbul
You will catch a domestic flight early this morning to Istanbul where your tour will end. Once we receive your flight details, we will book the most convenient connecting flight for your flight back home.
