BUTTERFLY VALLEY AND FARALYA

Butterfly Valley

Faralya is the first village south of Oludeniz and boasts one of the last untouched stretches of the Turkish Mediterranean, with breathtaking views of the surrounding bay.  The village of Faralya is also highly isolated and most of the locals are self sufficient.  Butterfly Valley is home to the rare Jersey Tiger butterfly, a 60 metre high waterfall and diverse treks.  All the hiking trails are marked out with red dots, the hike to the top of Butterfly Valley normally takes 40 minutes, to an hour, with fixed ropes along the path in some of the steepest parts.
